Why I took this course
I’m still in the beginning stages of my blogging journey, but in this past year, I’ve already learned so much. Since traveling is not an option for me at the moment, I’ve been keeping myself busy at home by taking some courses. One course, in particular, is Make Money as an Influencer by online business expert Elaine Rau aka LadyBossBlogger. The timing of this course could not have been more perfect!
One of my career goals is to become a full-time entrepreneur, with my blog being one source of income. There are so many ways to make money blogging, and there’s so much information out there that it can be difficult to know where to start. One of the reasons I love online courses is because I can have all the information in one place.

First impressions and course breakdown
My first impression of this course was that it was well-organized and easy to follow and understand. I also felt really supported and motivated by her encouraging words that were sprinkled throughout the course.
The course is divided into 8 sections:
- Introduction
- Branding + Structure
- Content Creation
- Brand relationships
- Making Money
- Legal Matters
- Conclusion
Plus there’s also a bonus section with a ton of goodies such as a sponsored post checklist, email marketing tips, and much more.
My favorite parts of the course
I really liked the sections that discussed pitching and brand partnerships, and content creation strategies. I’m currently in the middle of rebranding and refining my content strategy, so this was super helpful. The section on defining your audience was also key for me since I aim to continuously create valuable content for my target audience.
My final thoughts
I learned from this course that you have to create a plan and be consistent in order to succeed. Becoming an influencer is not easy, but with the guidance of this course, it’s totally possible. I think this course is perfect for those who are just starting out, as well as those who want to monetize and level up their online business. If this sounds like you, I highly recommend this course.

The course is a bit pricey, but I think it’s totally worth the investment if you’re serious about making money as an influencer. You can even break out the payments (2-month or 6-month) to make it more manageable.
