Silver Diner
If you’re looking for quick, comforting, or healthy eats, be sure to add Silver Diner in Cherry Hill to your list! Silver Diner is a regional chain located in New Jersey and the DMV area. It’s modeled after the classic American diner, however, this is NOT your average diner at all. They serve classic dishes with a modern twist and also offer tons of elevated menu items. The extensive, mouth-watering menu caters to various dietary preferences including flexitarian, vegan/plant-based, and gluten-free. Not to mention, they also serve all-day breakfast and brunch, which, in and of itself, make this spot a must-visit. Click HERE to check out the menu for yourself.
Silver Diner‘s dishes are created with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and are oh-so-delicious. The team at Silver Diner Cherry Hill hosted us, and we had an excellent experience! We ordered the banana stuffed French toast (one of my faves), crispy fried Brussels sprouts, pineapple basil vegan stir fry, quinoa coconut pancakes, and tarragon crab cake platter. We grabbed dessert to go and had the hibiscus mango soy shake (my favorite), double chocolate triple layer cake, and apple pie.

Teriyaki Madness
If you love Asian-inspired food, then be sure to visit Teriyaki Madness in Marlton the next time you’re in South Jersey. Teriyaki Madness is an Asian fusion restaurant serving tasty, tangy chicken teriyaki dishes. What makes this restaurant especially unique is that everything is customizable! Customers can build their own bowl with a base of rice, noodles, or veggies, and a protein, with a side of veggies. Protein options include chicken teriyaki, chicken katsu, steak, salmon, orange chicken, and tofu. Don’t sleep on their appetizers, either. You may want to consider the chicken egg rolls, edamame, chicken potstickers, or crab rangoon to complete your meal.
Made to order with fresh ingredients, their bowls are filled with mouth-watering goodness. The portion sizes are fantastic and the food is absolutely flavorful and delicious! I love Asian food so I was thrilled to try out this restaurant, which recently opened in December 2020. This small chain is quickly expanding and they now have over 100 stores across the U. S. and around the globe.
[Hosted visit] Thank you to the Teriyaki Madness Marlton team for hosting us and providing the gifted meal! We ordered a family-style meal with chicken teriyaki, orange chicken, spicy chicken, chicken egg rolls, and a side of stir-fried veggies. Playa Bowls
Looking for fresh smoothies and bowls? Then Playa Bowls is definitely the place for you! If you’ve been following along for some time, you’ll know that I’m a huge fan of smoothies. So as you can probably guess, I was beyond excited to finally visit this place. Playa Bowls Acai Shop was founded in 2014 by two Jersey Shore natives, Robert Giuliani and Abby Taylor. The longtime surfers created recipes that are inspired by their summertime trips to different tropical locations like Hawaii, Costa Rica, California, and Puerto Rico.
Every item at Playa Bowls is crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Menu items include bowls, smoothies, juices, and poke. The bases for bowls include tasty flavors like acai, pitaya, coconut, green (kale blend), chia, banana, and oatmeal.
When you visit, I recommend ordering the Lola Green Bowl and Electric Mermaid Pitaya Bowl. For smoothies, you can’t go wrong with the Aloha. The fresh, tropical flavors truly offer a slice of a summertime paradise. In addition, their dedication to sustainability and community are at the forefront of their mission and it really shines through.
I love that Playa Bowls makes eating healthy so easy and convenient. I’m a summer baby so I also loved the beachy, tropical vibe, which caught my attention immediately upon entering the store. The food was delicious and the customer service was exceptional.

Stella Baking Company
Of course, I couldn’t end this list without mentioning a place to grab some sweet treats. If you’re ever in South Jersey or Philly and looking for bakeries, I totally recommend visiting Stella Baking Company. Stella’s is a family-owned bakery that offers a variety of baked treats like cookies, cinnamon buns, muffins, donuts, cheesecake, cupcakes, custom cakes, and more. If you need a custom cake or wedding cake, definitely reach out because custom cakes are their specialty!
The line at Stella’s is always out the door and I can definitely see why. The interior of the shop looks like something out of a fairytale, making it 100% Instagram-worthy. The customer service was superb and the variety of fresh-baked treats was overwhelmingly exquisite – there were SO many delicious options! We left with two boxes of tasty treats, including the cinnamon swirl bismark, cinnamon rolls, maple bacon donuts, and cupcakes.
The cupcake flavors pictured below are brownie sundae, cookie butter dream, lemon blueberry, and red velvet. These were seriously some of the BEST cupcakes I’ve ever had. They were perfectly fluffy and not too sweet. I can’t wait to see what new creations they come up with! Their flavors change frequently, so be sure to check out their website (HERE) and Instagram for the latest offerings.
We recently had a birthday in the family and the custom cake we ordered was spot-on. Fluffy, moist, and not too sweet. The design was absolutely beautiful!

Sabrina’s Cafe
If you’re looking for the best eats around South Jersey, look no further than Sabrinas. Sabrina’s Cafe is a popular restaurant in the Philadelphia area. Founded in 2001, the cafe is known for their brunch classics like French toast and chicken and waffles. The menus are updated frequently so you can always expect new, seasonal offerings. Breakfast is served all day and there are a variety of vegetarian and vegan meal options. This cafe has a friendly, welcoming vibe and the decor is so pretty.
They have 4 locations around the Philadelphia area and offer convenient dining options like take out and delivery. We attended their 20th anniversary celebration in April and had a great experience. The service was friendly and quick, and the food was fresh and tasty.
The portions are sizable, so you get great value for your money. I highly recommend getting the stuffed French toast latte, stuffed challah French toast, parmesan fries, and Bahn Mi sandwich. They were all soo delicious but the stuffed French toast was my favorite!
